Wendy Leshgold spent more than a decade in advertising, leading teams at Ogilvy & Mather, BBDO and Deutsch, where she worked with brands including Apple, Kodak, IBM, Bank of America and Mitsubishi. In these roles, she understood first-hand the challenges people face in high pressure, fast-paced corporate environments. She felt compelled to help, so she launched a successful executive coaching practice, earning her executive coaching certification from CTI. A decade later, she joined forces with her childhood friend Lisa McCarthy, who had a similar passion. Wendy is a highly active board member of California Environmental Voters, and uses the Power Principles to fuel that team and accelerate its mission. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
Lisa McCarthy had spent 25 years at prominent media companies Univision, Viacom and CBS, leading sales organizations that were responsible for billions in revenue. Recognized as a people-first leader and change agent, Lisa was named a “Woman to Watch” by Advertising Age and was included in Crain’s New York “Business 40 Under 40.” She had experienced the onslaught of an always-on workplace: where we end up simply surviving, putting out fires, and often putting our personal happiness and peace on hold.
