Is our book suitable for CA GED? The Canadian test is structured a little differently and contains some Canada specific content for history and government instead of US history and government. However, the GED is more about reading comprehension than knowing specific facts.
Canada "The GED® test is made up of 5 subjects, broken into separate exams. If you take the test on computer, you don’t have to take all 5 tests at once. Instead, you can space them out however it suits you and go at your own pace."

TEST SCORE PARAMETERS: The GED is scored pass/fail by subject (math, language arts, social studies, science), with the option to take different subjects on different test dates. Scores are scaled on a range of 100–200. Students can pass at different levels: high school equivalence, college ready, and college ready + credit. The national pass rate for 2019, 2020, and 2021 was around 75%.
A student must score 145 or better on all four subjects to earn high school equivalency.
A score of 165–174 on a subject is equivalent to the top 9%–27% of the national average of graduating high school seniors and should qualify the student for a waivers from developmental education requirements for that subject.
A score of 175–200 on a subject is equivalent to the top 1%–8% of the national average of graduating high school seniors and demonstrates skills that could qualify the student for college credit for that subject.
HSE OPTIONS: GED and HiSET are High School Equivalency tests, and depending on the state, students may elect which of the tests to take. In the United States, the GED is offered at more than 3,200 testing centers worldwide.
CERTIFIED CONTENT: Kaplan's content has been certified by the GED Testing Service for being fully aligned with the GED Test..
